This reset switch is the "normally open" type, meaning that you must push the switch to make contact and close your circuit. It is also a "momentary" type switch meaning that the switch will only be "on" as long as you push it. It has a 5' cord which allows you to remotely cycle your PCB as needed by soldering its leads to the leads already on the push-button switch.
