The Super Feeder® is a dependable durable automatic feeder to feed your fish, cats, small dogs, small animals, koi ponds, birds, turtles, rabbits, guinea pigs, swans, ducks and more! This combo has been used to feed cats, pigeons, ducks, swans, wild bird, koi fish, chickens, etc... where regular 120V power is not available.
Super Feeder Features:
All Super Feeder models are constructed from thick, high-impact acrylic and polycarbonate plastics, rugged polypropylene internal components, and stainless-steel hardware for long-lasting reliability. The heavy-duty materials resist condensation, stand up to harsh conditions, and are designed to be highly resistant to animal interference. Every component is replaceable and readily available, making maintenance simple should you ever need it. The Super Feeder unit itself is made for indoor or outdoor use, but this CSF-3XL unit comes with the outdoor power supply kit suitable for outdoor use.
Included Items
CSF-3XL Outdoor Cat/ Small Animal Model + Hopper + DT-03 Digital Timer for 12V Battery: this feeder package includes the Super Feeder housing unit, two 2-cup clear hopper extensions, lid, chute cover, 1.5 gallon hopper w/ strap, powder coated black metal mounting bracket and tie strap, two battery clamps, 50’ of outdoor wire, an indoor standard 120V/12VDC power supply, 12VAC outdoor power supply kit, hardware bag, printed operating manual and the DT-03 12 Volt digital timer in metal box. The CSF-3XL model includes a 1.5 gallon black hopper (24 cups capacity) to stack on top of the basic CSF-3 Super Feeder (for a total feeder capacity of 28-3/4 cups).
In addition to the outdoor power supply, an indoor standard 120V/12VDC power supply is also included to test/pre-adjust portion controller of your Super Feeder before installation. The two battery clamps are to use with wire of your choice from battery to timer.
Flexible Power & Control Options - Ways to automate:
This combo package comes with the outdoor DT-03 12 Volt DC weekly digital timer for up to 8 daily or group of days programming enclosed in an approved outdoor metal box. The weekly digital timer will keep exact time and programs even when disconnected from its 12 volt battery source because of its internal battery back-up feature. This set-up is available for people who do not have a 120 volt power source available near their Super Feeder. All you will need is any 12 volt battery (the larger the better for better capacity). You may keep a trickle charger on your battery, or depending on size of your battery, you probably will not need to recharge it for a very long time because the intermittent battery draw is extremely small while feeding (125 mA) and near nothing, like a wrist watch, when not feeding. Of course, a solar battery system would be great but not required. This package deal will require some mounting handyman works and very basic electrical wiring knowledge with supplied instructions. Great combo if a battery set-up is necessary. This combo has been used to feed pigeons, ducks and chickens where regular 120V power is not available. Metal enclosure size is 8” x 4” x 2-3/4” deep.
Important Note: DO NOT EVER hook-up 2 power supplies/transformers at one time when setting up this combo. You may damage your feeder and/or other accessories and void your warranty. The standard small indoor power adapter is only to initially run and adjust your feeder indoors before final mounting outdoors using only the external 12V battery used by itself. Also, to program the supplied outdoor timer, only use the instructions supplied with the timer manufacturer to program the times you want to feed per day (on-off cycles). Only 2 minutes of on time per programmed feed cycle is recommended to trigger and power the feeder through its on feed cycle time. The feeder will only run for the time pre-adjusted at the feeder itself.

CSF-3 Outdoor Installation
There are various ways to mount your CSF-3XL Cat/Small Animal Super Feeder. The CSF-3XL model comes with a black powder-coated metal “L” shaped mounting bracket and a metal strap. Some of the most common ways to mount your automatic cat or small animal feeder is to a 2x4 or 4x4, in a custom cabinet or box, or on customer built stand with a 2x4 attached for mounting.
